Sometimes we look at the place of emptiness as a place to run from. But we should look at that place of emptiness with the attitude of surrender to receive an infilling of God.
I love how the Message translation describes this in Mathew 5:3 “You’re blessed when you’re at the end of your rope. With less of you there is more of God and his rule.”
I Peter 5:7 Says, “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.”
